Sinópsis
La Guerra contra las Carnes fue escrita originalmente como una obra de teatro y posteriormente adaptada en formato novela gráfica. La historia ocurre en algún momento a mediados del Siglo XXII, cuando la posesión, tráfico y consumo de productos cárnicos han sido declaradas actividades ilegales.
Las sociedades del S. XXII han sido marcadas por un evento ocurrido el 31 de diciembre de 2099 llamado el Gran Apagón Informático (o BIBO por sus siglas en inglés), cuando por 15 segundos (10 segundos antes del fin del siglo y 5 segundos después) se apagaron todos los sistemas de comunicación del planeta y cuando fueron restablecidos, todos los datos, todos los registros de eventos ocurridos hasta esa fecha fueron alterados: llevando al surgimiento de miles de diferentes versiones del pasado.
Esta es la historia de un grupo de carni-traficantes y de los dramas, vicios y placeres del mundo que los rodea.
Como su nombre lo indica, la historia está dividida en dos actos. Cada acto cuenta con cinco escenas. La siguiente es una breve descripción de dichas escenas.
Synopsis
The War on Meats was originally written as a theatre play and later adapted into a graphic novel. The story takes place sometime in the mid 22nd century, when the possession, traffic and consumption of meat products have been declared illegal activities.
The societies of the 22nd century have marked by an event that happened on 31 December 2099, known as the Big Information Black Out (or BIBO), when for 15 minutes (from 10m before the end of the century to 5m after) all the communication systems of the planet were shut down. When they were re-established, all the records stored and digitised throughout the century had been altered: leading to the emergence of thousands of different version of the past.
This is the story of a group of meat-dealers and of the dramas, vices and pleasures of the world that surrounds them.
The story is divided in two acts. Each act has five scenes (described in more detail in the following pages).
